n support of the continued development of the Mossawa Center,  its mission, and to deepen its relations with different social groups,  the Mossawa Center Board decided to create a forum for Friends of the Mossawa Center. The forum will include Arab professional and social figures who are interested in supporting the Mossawa Center. It aims to provide moral and financial support to the Center by encouraging membership to the Mossawa Center, providing support and expertise advice for the staff and encouraging donations to the Mossawa Center activities.

  Since its establishment, the Mossawa Center aims to promote the economic, social, cultural and political rights of the Palestinian Arab citizens in Israel, and the recognition of this community a national indigenous minority, with their own national, cultural and historical distinctiveness. The Center develops programs to promote a democratic society, and acts against all forms of discrimination based on race, nationalism, religious affiliation, social status, gender, and disabilities.

  The first meeting will be held on Thursday at 19:00 in the Carmel Center - Saint Lucas , Haifa.
