Haifa 13/11/13 � A court hearing was held today in the Haifa district court on the sentencing of the Shfamer residents involved in the death of the terrorist Eden Natan-Zada who killed four people on a bus en route to Shfamer and injured 20 others in 2005.
In July, the court acquitted all of the defendants of attempted murder but 4 of the seven were charged with attempted homicide and two more were charged with aggravated assault. All seven were convicted of aggravated assault of police officers, obstruction of justice, and property damage due to rioting.
 
Today in court the state asked for a six to nine year sentencing for the four defendants convicted of attempted homicide and four to six years for the two convicted of aggravated assault, obstruction of justice, and property damage. No official sentence was given today and a court hearing is set for three weeks in the future to give one of the defendants the opportunity to bring forth more evidence.
